(A) Colocalization of α2B-AR with the ER marker calnexin. HEK293 cells were transfected with α2B-AR-GFP together with dsRed-C1 or dsRed-Rab43 mutants and then stained with calnexin antibodies.

(B) Effect of Rab43 on the ER-to-Golgi transport of the YS mutant. HEK293 cells were transfected with GFP-tagged YS mutant together with dsRed-C1 or dsRed-Rab43 mutants. The cells were then stained with GM130 or calnexin antibodies.

(C) Quantitation of the data shown in (B). Approximately 100 cells were counted in each experiment. The data are the mean ± SE (n = 3). *p < 0.05 versus YS plus dsRed.
