ISO-induced electrocardiogram changes mimicked hyperthyroid heart disease: changed P wave morphology and increased Q wave. The size of Au-NPs had no effect ECG morphology in normal rat hearts. Au-NPs protected against ISO-induced P wave or Q wave changes but may induce the increase in R wave amplitude.
