Light‐induced ROS/RNS formation and decay in culture media. For each sample, the relative radical level was quantified indirectly using the DCFH conversion rate. Time‐dependent radical decay in irradiated CDPM was assessed in a pulse‐chase experiment by exposing the sample to light for a total duration of 3 h, followed by a subsequent dark phase (dotted line in plot (a)).
