Array-CGH performed on the primary and the second osteosarcomas of patient 1 identified copy number alterations (CNAs) specifically acquired in those tumors: loss of chromosome 3p and of a telomeric part of 14q in the first tumor; loss on chromosome 2q, gain of chromosome 8q, and several shorter CNA gains on chromosome 4 (including one amplification encompassing the KIT oncogene) and 7p in the second tumor
