TAARD treatment augments interferon (IFN)-γ secretion by both CD56^bright and CD56^dim natural killer (NK) cells. Enriched NK cells were sorted via FACS into CD56^dim and CD56^bright NK cells, based on the relative density of CD56 expressed on the cell surface. (A) CD56^bright NK cells were treated with or without 0.1 µM of TAARD for 18 h in the absence of cytokine stimulation. IFN-γ secretion was determined by ELISA.
