Figure 1. — The resistance index of MCF-7 and MCF-7/ADR cells to doxorubicin. Cells were treated with different concentrations of doxorubicin (0, 1, 10, 100, 500 and 1,000 nM) for 24, 48 and 96 h prior to MTT treatment. The resulting changes in absorbance were read at 490 nm in a plate reader and expressed as a percentage of the control absorbance in the absence of any drug. The results indicated that the IC50 of MCF-7/ADR cells has been elevated. *P<0.05, **P<0.01 and ***P<0.001. The results are presented as the mean ± standard deviation.
