Fig. 1. Effect of Red Wine Extract (RWE) on cell viability. Cells were pre-treated with three different concentrations of RWE (200, 400 and 600 μg ml–1). After 24 hours, cell viability was measured by following the extent of MTT reduction. Data represent the mean ± SEM of at least four independent experiments run in duplicate and are expressed as a percentage of control cells (100%).
