Note that L-SPD (10 mg/kg) was only administered 30 min prior to the reinstatement test. Rats in both treatment groups successfully acquired a CPP (PRE vs. POST; both p < 0.01) with MDPV (2 mg/kg), which was abolished following extinction training (PRE vs. EXT; both p > 0.05). Rats given L-SPD (10 mg/kg) spent significantly less time in the MDPV-paired side during the reinstatement test relative to vehicle-treated rats (p < 0.001). Data are presented as mean + S.E.M.
