Wild type and HtrA2/Omi-deficient MEFs were pre-incubated with 100 nM BTZ (A) or 100 nM CFZ (B) for 1 hour and then treated with 500 nM staurosporine for 10 hours. Endogenous level of full length eIF4G1, UCH-L1, α Fodrin, c-Jun, HtrA2/Omi, and GAPDH was assayed in cell extracts by western blots. Results are representatives of two independent experiments.
