The protective effect of gastrin on cardiac function in a Langendorff‐perfused system. Cardiac function was assessed by developed (Dev) pressure, the rate of rise of left ventricular pressure (+dp/dtmax), and end‐diastolic pressure. Significant differences in data in panels A1, B1, and C were tested by repeated‐measures ANOVA and the Holm–Sidak test.
