Results adjusted for age, sex, race, body mass index, smoking status, survey year, moderate or vigorous recreational activity, minutes sedentary activity, number of hours watching TV or videos, number of meals not home prepared, sodium intake, and DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet adherence. Lipids, Apo B, and glucose levels were adjusted for presence of hypertension. Apo B indicates apolipoprotein B; DBP, diastolic blood pressure; HDL‐c, high‐density lipoprotein‐cholesterol; LDL‐c, low‐density lipoprotein‐cholesterol; SBP, systolic blood pressure; TC, total cholesterol; TG, triglyceride.

a

Indicates statistically significant difference at P<0.05 level.

b

Indicates significant interaction between binge drinking and sex.
