Bafilomycin A and chloroquine decrease the association of Drp1ABCD with lysosomes/late endosomes. A and C, Drp1-KO MEFs carrying Drp1ABCD were treated with 20 nm bafilomycin A for 1 h, or 50 μm chloroquine (CQ) for 1 h, or a combination of 10 μg/ml E-64d and 10 μg/ml pepstatin A. We also washed out bafilomycin A and incubated further for 2 h. These cells were subjected confocal immunofluorescence microscopy with antibodies to Drp1 and Lamp1 (A) or antibodies to Drp1 and Tom20 (C). Scale bars = 20 μm.
