Algorithm 1: EEMD Algorithm
  1. Generate an artificial observation xj[n]=x[n]+ωj[n], where ωj[n](j=1,,J) are various realizations of Gaussian noise.

  2. Using traditional EMD, completely decompose the ensemble xj[n] with added white Gaussian noise into IMFs, IMFkj[n]. Here, k=1,,K indicates the modes.

  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 with different white noise realizations each time.

  4. Obtain the result of decomposition as an ensemble means of the corresponding IMFs from all decomposition trials.

  5. Reconstruct the original signal as x[n]=k=1KIMFk[n]+rK[n]
