Bactericidal response for the same 33 NTHi strains shown in Fig. 6. MAb 6E4 was used at a concentration of 1 μg/ml. AGS at a 1:20 dilution was used as the complement source. The strains are arranged in the same order as in Fig. 6, demonstrating the concordance of KDO surface epitope expression with bactericidal activity. All studies were performed in triplicate.
