Each point represents an individual DFP-intoxicated animal. The correlation between seizure severity and neuronal necrosis was stronger during the first week post intoxication (rs = .71 [95% CI = 0.40–0.88], P = .0003) compared with later time points (rs = .55 [95% CI = 0.12–0.80], P < .012), although both were significant.
