Percentage of surviving cells infected by four strains of vaccinia virus (VACV) used in this study. Various human tumor cell lines were infected by the four parental VACV strains (MVA, WY, WR and COP) at Multiplicity of Infection (MOI) 10–5. Survival was determined 5 days later, as described in the Materials and Methods section. Cell viability results are expressed as the percentage of viable cells relative to non-infected cells. Values are expressed as mean ± SD of three individual infections.
