Figure 6. — Analysis of the interaction between GRP78 and miR-495 by dual luciferase assay. (A) The miR-495 sequence was predicted to bind GRP78 (HSPA5) mRNA. (B) This luciferase assay revealed that miR-495 mimics could not target mutant GRP78, and could only reduce the expression of wild-type GRP78. miR-495 mimics significantly decreased the luciferase activity of WT GRP78-transfected cells, in comparison to cells transfected with its 3UTR mutant. *P<0.05, GRP78 WT+miR-495 vs. NC.
