Cell index of Caco-2 cell layers treated with different concentrations of anthocyanin extract (AC): 0.5 µM, 5 µM, 50 µM and 500 µM AC, and with 1% Triton-X-100 (TX-100). Cell suspensions (100 µL) were dispensed into the wells at a density of 2 × 10⁴ cells/well, and then Caco-2 cells were kept in incubator at 37 °C for 7 days. After the cell index had reached its maximum value in each well, the cells were treated, and the cell index was normalized at the time of treatment. Data are presented as means ± SDs, n = 4.
