Cell viability was determined using the 3-(4,5-dimethyl-thiazol)-2,5-diphenyl-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. The incubation of hDPSCs with 1% of each bleaching product revealed a significant reduction in cell viability rates compared with those in the control group at the indicated times of culture (*** p < 0.001). In contrast, a slight but significant recovery of cell viability was observed with 1%, 0.5% and 0.25% PB30 or PN compared to the others (ΔΔΔ p < 0.001).
