Inclusion criteria

Adult patients between 18 and 65 years of age Patients who consented and agreed for PSG and blood-taking

Exclusion criteria

Patient with known diabetes mellitus on medication Patient with undiagnosed diabetes mellitus with fasting blood sugar of more than 7.0 mmol/L Patient with acromegaly Patient with chronic renal failure Patient with chronic liver disease Patient on systemic steroid treatment Patient with Cushing syndrome Patient with thyroid disorder Patient on thiazide or thiazide-like diuretics Patient on beta-blocker Patient on hormonal replacement therapy Pregnancy
