A brachytherapy mould where the brachytherapy containers or tubes or wires are kept in a pattern by the mould, usually the wires are separated by equal spacing. There is usually some water-equivalent material called bolus or build-up (BU) between the brachytherapy tubes and the skin; this enables the dose cloud, by the time it gets to the skin, to have a homogeneous wave front.
