Insertion of OEP7 and OEP7-LM3 into liposomes with different lipid compositions. Insertion of [³⁵S]methionine-labeled OEP7 and OEP7-LM3 into liposomes was performed as described in Figure 1. The lipid composition of the liposomes is given in Table 2. Lane 1 shows 10% translation product (TP) used for insertion assay. Lane 2 represents binding to liposomes before and lane 3 after N-liposome competition. Lane 4 represents the determination of OEP7 orientation by thermolysin (Thr) treatment.
