DexDOX-induced apoptosis independent of the cell cycle interruption.

Notes: (A) Cell cycle analysis demonstrated that treatment with DexDOX did not induce cell cycle arrest, whereas DOX induced cycle arrest in the G2/M phase. (B) Representative analysis of Annexin V and PI showed that the majority of the MCF-7 cells were double-positive for Anexin V and PI following 48 h of treatment with DexDOX. In contrast, MCF-7 induced MCF-7-expressed Annexin V. (C) Representative images of DCFH-DA-treated cells showing sequential expression of DCF (green fluorescence) were generated from oxidization of DCFH-DA following exposure to DexDOX.
