Comparison of the colonies of the total and three major bacteria among different sample groups. The counted colonies of total bacterial isolated colonies (A), Propinibacterium acnes (B), and Staphylococcus aureus (C) from the eyelashes of patients were, separately, significantly more than that of normal individuals. (D) As for Staphylococcus epidermidis, no significant differences were observed among different groups.
