(A and B) WT and IFNAR−/− mice (n = 3–7/condition) were challenged with Pam3Cys (100 μg/mouse) or Pam2Cys (100 μg/mouse) for 4 h and serum IL‐6 and TNF levels were quantified by in vivo cytokine capture assay (IVCCA). (C) Gravid WT and IFNAR−/− mice were challenged with Pam2Cys (200 μg/mouse) on day 16 of gestation and the incidence of PTB was quantified.
