The median expression level was used as the cutoff value. Low Lamp2 expression in each of the 143 patients was defined as a value below the 50th percentile. High Lamp2 expression in each of the 143 patients was defined as a value above the 50th percentile.

Pearson's Chi-square tests were used for the correlation analysis between the expression levels of Lamp2 and clinical features. The results were considered statistically significant at p < 0.05.
