The plots of the Z-scores of each of three affiliative behaviors, grooming, proximity and approach, versus the relatedness coefficients are shown in the three subfigures. Each dot in the scatter plots denotes a dyad, and regression analyses of those Z-scores on relatedness coefficients were performed. The correlation coefficient between independent and dependent variables and their significance is shown in the bottom of each subfigure. The line in each subfigure shows the regression equation and the two curves denote the 95% confidence interval of the estimated Z-score.
