M = medium. Birao, Bozo, Lokern, Mboke, Santa Rosa, and Shokwe viruses are not included because their M genome segments have not been fully sequenced. Fort Sherman, Playas, Tlacotalpan, and Xingu viruses are not included because they are antigenic variants of CVV.36,37 Iaco and Tucunduba viruses are not included because they have been reclassified as Wyeomyia group viruses.34 Underlined values were obtained when the M genomic sequence of a reassortant was aligned to the corresponding sequence of its donor virus (these values were excluded when calculating means and ranges).
