Detection and analysis of CITase. (A) CITase production by wild-type and single, double, and triple mutant strains. One unit of CITase was defined as the amount of enzyme that produced 1 nmol of the sum of CI-7, CI-8, and CI-9 per min from dextran at pH 5.5 at 40°C.
