AAV-mediated TRAIL upregulation promoted tumor cell apoptosis, proliferation prohibition and cell cycle arrest. (A) Cell apoptosis was examined by flow cytometry in SCC-25 cells following infection with AAV-TRAIL and control. (B) The rate of apoptosis was calculated. (C) MTT assay was performed to measure the cell proliferation ability following transfection with AAV-TRAIL. (D) Cell viability and (E) cell cycle distribution were calculated to evaluate the effect and function of TRAIL. Data are presented as the mean ± standard deviation.
