Anteroposterior (a) and frog-leg (b) pelvic radiographs of a three-year-old female patient who had been treated by Pavlik’s method due to Graf type IIb hip on the left side at four months of age. This revealed osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ON) involving the ossific nucleus and central physis. Although the hip became normal (Graf type I) following eight weeks treatment, ON could not be prevented.
