Earlier onset and mild increase in EAE severity in Aire-deficient HLA-DR tg mice. Aire+/+ and Aire−/− HLA-DR2b tg mice (A and C) or HLA-DR4 tg mice (B and D) were immunized for EAE and scored for clinical signs of disease as described in Materials and Methods.
