Adjusted for parental education level, youth age, gender, ethnicity, other tobacco products use (eg, smokeless tobacco, cigars/cigarillos, dissolvable) in the past 6 months, and each outcome indicator at baseline. W5 = 24-month follow-up. Mental health outcomes were coded by 0 = Scores below the clinical cutoff and 1 = Scores above the clinical cutoff. Past month substance use outcomes were coded as a count variable indicating number of days of substance use in the past month. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01.
