Kaempferol restored the impaired hepatic PC and G6Pase activity without altering their protein expression in HF diet-fed mice. At the end of feeding experiment, (A, F) PC, (B, F) G6Pase, and (C, F) PEPCK protein levels in whole cell lysates of liver tissue of mice were measured by immunoblotting and normalized to total protein, which were not altered by kaempferol. (D) PC and (E) G6Pase activity was measured as described in the Method section. Values are Mean ± SEM from 8-9 mice per group. Letter differences denote significant difference at P < 0.05.
