Knockout of MxB alleviates inhibition of HIV-1 reporter virus by IFN-α2b. IFN-α2b (500 U/ml) was used to treat SupT1 cells, including control and MxB/gRNA1, MxB/gRNA2, or STAT1/gRNA knockout SupT1 cells. Sixteen hours later, cells were infected with HIV-1 reporter viruses NLENY1 or NLENY1-ES/VSV G. The number of infected (YFP-positive) cells was scored with flow cytometry.
