Fig. 6 — Three-dimensional images of alveolar bone loss in rat experimental periodontitis by Micro-CT. Alveolar bone loss was observed in all the three groups. Obvious alveolar bone loss between the first and second molars was observed in the L group. Alveolar bone loss was alleviated in the groups that underwent ligation in combination with treatment with 30 μg/g body weight curcumin (L + C₃₀) or 100 μg/g body weight curcumin (L + C₁₀₀)
