All the alterations are significant at the p < 0.05 level. CTL, vehicle medium; GLU, 25 mM glucose; H2O2, 1 mM hydrogen peroxide; HNE, 10 µM 4-hydroxy-2-nonenal. All samples were analysed after 24 hours of treatment.
