Mean ipsilateral thalamic region of interest pixel intensity measurements of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) metabolites were acquired from an additional second set of uninjured control and injured rats at 1 and 3 hours after injury from representative MALDI sections at bregma –1.8 mm for LPA 18:1 (A), LPA 20:1 (B), phosphatidic acid (PA) 16:0/18:1 (C), PA 18:0/18:2 (D), PA 34:3 (E), lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC) 18:0 (F), LPC 18:3 (G), and phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) 18:1 (H).
