Changes in fruit skin color according to the CIELAB scale ((A) L*, (B) a*, (C) b*) at different time points under treatment compared to respective controls during the in vitro ripening of strawberry fruits. L*, a*, and b* indicate lightness, chromaticity on a green (−) to red (+) axis, and on a blue (−) to yellow (+) axis, respectively. The values were normalized against controls and correspond to the mean of three biological replicates ± S.E. Differences between means were determined using two-way ANOVA and Tukey test.
