Adjusted R2 penalizes the model for including too many predictors. It is computed using the formula Radj2=1-[(1-R2)(n-1)n-k-1], where n is the sample size and k is the number of predictors.

The neighbor averages are calculated based on the first-order queen’s continuity matrix.
