The channel nomenclature is as follows: LCAC corresponds to the Al³⁺-activated LCAC; SCAC to the Al-independent SCAC; K_in to the K⁺ inward rectifier; K_out1 to the time-dependent K⁺ outward rectifier; and K_out2 to the K⁺ instantaneous outward rectifier channel, respectively. Channel activation is indicated by an arrow of increased thickness, whereas channel inhibition or blockade is indicated by crosses superimposed on the arrows representing ion flux through a channel.
