Chronic (4 weeks) smoking significantly downregulated the expression of Gstpl in female mice (Al). The expression was also lowered in male mice as well but to a lesser extent (A2). The effect of chronic TS exposure was opposite in Gsta4 expression. It significantly elevated Gsta4 expression in female mice (Bl) but in case of male mice no change was observed (B2).
