U937 (black bars) or K562 (grey bars) cells were treated with ammonium chloride (A), chlorpromazine (B), dynasore (C) or methyl-β-cyclodextrin (D), and then infected with DENV-2. At 48 h p.i., the virus yields were determined by plaque formation in Vero cells and the results are expressed as % of virus multiplication with respect to a control of infected cells without drug treatment. Each bar is the mean of three independent experiments ± SEM. Asterisks indicate statistical significance between treated and control infected cells (** P < 0.0001).
