Resistin induces resistance to cisplatin. A2780, SK-OV-3 and A2780Cis cells were treated with increasing doses of cisplatin in the absence and presence of resistin (two doses – 10 and 25 ng/mL) for 72 hours, before being subjected to MTT assay. The OD value for control cells (0 μM cisplatin) was assigned a value of ‘100’ and the relative OD values of cells treated with increasing concentrations of cisplatin are plotted to represent cell growth index. *p < 0.05, compared to control.
