Expression of KLHDC7B and STAR1 is significantly associated in breast cancer. Expression of KLHDC7B (A) and STAR1 (B) was examined by real-time RT-PCR in breast cancer tissue and its nearby normal tissue. The result is represented by 2−ΔCt method and shown by box plots. Both genes were revealed to be upregulated in the cancer tissue with a statistical significance (P < 0.05) when tested by Mann-Whitney U-test. (C) The expression association between KLHDC7B and STAR1 in cancer tissue was examined using the coefficient of determination (R2) calculated by linear regression (R2 = 0.3466, P < 0.01, N = 24).
