Eed and Suz12 subunits were downregulated in differentiating cells (transparent subunits), potentially leading to formation of “non-PRC2” Ezh2 complexes. (J) Graded expression of PRC2 subunits is important in cortex regionalization, but these genes are not under direct control of Pax6, Tbr2, or Tbr1.
