Linear-scale, arithmetic mean concentration versus time 24-hour pharmacokinetic (PK) curve for serum testosterone in 14 males with allergic rhinitis (AR) under three conditions of allergy challenge. PKs were assessed in the asymptomatic state (Condition 1), as well as symptomatic (Condition 2) or symptomatic and treated with ozymetazoline (Condition 3). The symptomatic allergic state was induced using a Dactylis glomerata pollen challenge within an allergy challenge chamber (ACC). Blood samples were taken at prespecified time points to appropriately characterize individual doses of 11 mg given three-times daily over a period of 24 hours. Testosterone quantification was performed by LCMS/MS. Circle: Condition 1, asymptomatic; Triangle: Condition 2, symptomatic; Square: Condition 3, symptomatic treated.
