Effect of oxygen-cycling on cardiac remodeling in the MI heart. Cardiac remodeling was assessed using wet weights of the whole heart, whole lung, right ventricle, and left ventricle with septum. The results showed a significant increase in the weight of the organs in the MI group which was inhibited by oxygen-cycling treatment with 95% O2/5% CO2 for 30 min/day.
