Neighbor-Joining (NJ) phylogenetic tree showed the relationships of Metallothionein (MT) family genes from A. thaliana and various Brassica species. The rooted neighbor-joining phylogenetic tree was constructed using MEGA6 and visualized using Figure Tree v1.4.2. The MTs were divided into four subfamilies (MT1–MT4), which are indicated by different colors. Organism name and gene accession numbers are shown in Table 1.
