Poly(lactic-co-glycolic) acid (PLGA) is the major component of PEGylated-coated nanoparticles (NPs). The lipid shell is composed by 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (POPC) and 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-rac-glycerol, sodium salt (DMPG).
